originally from san francisco, madeline lived in new york before moving to los angeles.

she earned a bfa from new york university’s tisch school of the arts, focusing on classical and avant garde theatrical performance. since returning to the west coast, she has continued to work on performances and installations with theater, musical and fine artists in venues ranging from private homes to symphony halls to public parks. much of her work involves unique audience engagement, questioning the traditional boundaries between maker and viewer.

things that bring her joy include swimming in natural bodies of water, jigsaw puzzles, and cooking for friends.
